Open to the New

Sometimes we have to learn to be open to new experiences. Goodness knows the last three years have taught me that. And in that time, I have learned that things are bigger than I am... often this includes my feelings. What with the pandemic and both of my children moving into and now one moving out of their teens, anxiety has become a constant companion to some if not all of us at any given time. I have written a lot recently about my efforts to prioritize my mental health.

It is my Universe, after all.

This is why I am trying the Aura Meditation App. It sends me daily messages to set my day off right and I can customize it to help direct me on the path I wish to take. With everything going on right now, I know that a hopeful lift is appreciated. And as someone who has proudly shared that meditation does not come easily, it’s okay to say that you need a little help. In fact, it’s more than okay.

If that sounds like something you would like to try, here's a link:

I talk a lot about shining brightly and throwing pebbles of positivity into the sea, but all of that depends on us being a bright light ourselves. This is a hard lesson I learned this year. I let might dim a bit. Candles o burn out if we don’t tend to them. For me I will be trying a litte aura.
