I Believe in Jane
This is the spirit behind the Apple TV+ show, Jane. When the first season premiered last year, I had the great pleasure of talking with the stars Ava Louise Murchison and Mason Blomberg via a roundtable. Aster and Aslyn got in the fun. Inspired by the daily legacy of Jane Goodall, Ava’s character, “Jane” (of course!) and her best friend David take imaginative adventures centering on a different endangered animal in each episode.
She Loves New York
Sometimes you come across a book that speaks to your heart and this new beauty did that in full! Dearest New York by Deidre Gartner was like a postcard I would have written to the NYC I lived and loved before 9/11. My heart sang with the pages.
Back to the Zoo
Sometimes life hands you full circle moments. When it does, don’t skip the chance to jump in the middle. This is true even if it leaves you a little nervous. Mine came when thanks to my friend, Di over at FSM Media, I got to interview Doug and Emily aka Emmy Jo of the New Zoo Revue.
