Carnival of Words

I shared this poem over at Medium. I would love it if you would go and subscribe to my channel. Thank you.

Spinning on a Top

Tickle, tickle on my toes.

Up and up, around it goes.

Sneaking, peeking, hide and seek.

Whirling, twirling dervish girl

Catch your breath, as toes unfurl.

Dizzy, busy, sounds swirl round.

Funhouse play, no fun you say?

Spinning top every which way.

Up goes the stomach, down goes me.

There is no name for this fair.

The rides are free, if you dare;

Cost of life is all you need.
