Listen Up: An Audible Gift Guide
I love reading, or should I say, I loved reading. I was never without a book, reading somewhere in the range of four to five books a month, sometimes more. But now…
No, I still love reading. I simply don’t do it nearly as often as I used to, between, work, the house, kids, etc. But I still love books, so fellow book lover court_halverson suggested audio books. Without exaggeration, I can say that this advice changed my life!
Bring the joy of books back

It is my Universe, after all.
I started listening while I soaked in the tub. Then as we did work on our home, I pressed play while I painted. I found myself addicted. Soon, much as I had before with a paper book, I would sneak a quick listen with the audible. The next thing I knew, I had listened to seven books in the month of June. All you need is a device, and if you research good internet providers, you won’t even have to use any of your data to enjoy your favorite books.
I thought I would share my favorite audibles with you here. If you are looking for a way to still enjoy books yourself, or as a unique gift for a similarly busy person, read on or listen up..

But how do I gift Audible?
Audible Under the Tree
There are two ways to gift Audible. You can give a membership which provides free credit monthly. There are multiple options varying from 1 and 3 months to annual, you can find details here.
If you wish to send a specific title, you can buy it much like a book at at a store. Simply utilize the “Give as a Gift” tab on the page.
Unfortunately, amazon gift cards are not accepted as a form of payment on Audible.
Do you love Audible? Share a title with me, Who know? It might end up on next year’s list!
