What's Happening Wednesday #4

Welcome to the fourth episode of What's Happening Wednesday. And what's happening this week, you ask?Well to start, last Friday was a good Friday, indeed. My daughter and I were invited by the lovely Kristin over at Two Cannoli to an Alice in Wonderland themed party hosted by The Clubhouse Scene at Gorgeous Millie. It was so much fun.Ever host a party and feel at the end you never actually experienced it? I know I have. Well, The Clubhouse Scene has this wacky theory that parents should enjoy their children's parties. So they organize (and here's the kicker) execute children's parties. They are fully inclusive but customiz-able based on needs and budget. Here they created a more mature take on "Alice" targeted at 10-12 year olds.

They can adjust the decor to be more masculine...

Or they can adjust it for younger children. Here's a play castle in theme...

But they don't forget the parents. At this party beyond the wonderful cakes provided by Dream Bakery, they offered Sushi from Roll On. So yummy...

And check out the cutest Soy Sauce bottles EVER... Fish!

They bring costumes, as well. My daughter is already asking for a princess party. i wonder why...

Gratuitous cute shot...

And Gorgeous Millie, as you can see, is a pretty dynamite location. A place where toddlers and pre-schoolers can participate in playgroup activities with their parents, it is lovely natural lit room that feels both calming and stimulating. It had play centers and a reading nook. Even though Little Diva was on the older edge, she was asking to come back. The fact that she had fun is pretty obvious from above.

And you know, I love my swag... Check out the water bottle with "Drink Me" on it and the bag says. "Take Me". And to answer the questions, yes, there were cakes that said "Eat Me" but I wasn't savvy enough to take that picture. (#BloggingFail)

Thank you, Kristin, for the invite. (BTW, she's the way more camera ready one here...)

So what's happening in your Wednesday?
