What's Happening Wednesday #13

Oh my goodness, so much is happening this Wednesday!First off, I have started a new project,Texas Military Mom. This site is very much in progress (in fact, it is pretty ugly right now but my husband has promised to help beautify it ASAP). This is a place to celebrate our men and women in uniform, but it is more than that. I am hoping that it will be a place where we can share the good and hard of military life. As I say there, it is a tough life but a worthwhile one! If you are military, please share your stories, thoughts, etc. If you know someone who is, please share the site with them. We have many uniformed personnel still in harm's way and some days it feels like we have forgotten that. This is a place to remember.Next, we got off to a late start but we've embarked on our Big Hearted Family adventure. More to follow, but here is a sneak peek.They are armed and ready to fill these buckets with toys and love!Also, as a part of My Journey Back to Me, we are trying to eat better. We've been trying to become more local and more natural (e.g. Edie Bird) and thus, on the recommendation of my SIL, I am trying out the Greenling Local Box system. I go online, set up an order, and they bring me the local veggies, actually deliver it to my door! And look at what came to my door today.I'll show you more this week but I never thought these two kids could be this excited about Veg! Now if I can figure out how to cook all these amazing things!Finally, my favorite Austin children's theater company, Pollyanna is back with a new season. This month they will be tackling Bullying in their own funny, engaging way. I, for one, can't wait!And last but not least, for my book-loving and home-schooling friends, I will be hosting a special event for my SIL starting next week. She is now an Usborne affiliate and I will be running an es-how on her behalf. But there are some great books available so really its on your behalf.
