Big Hearted Family Project #2 -- Love for Veterans

We joined the Big Hearted Family movement a few months ago.  I wanted to make a commitment to teaching my children to share and have generous hearts. We have had a few fits and starts (embarrassing to admit when speaking of helping others) but we are back on track One of our recent projects was making thank you cards for the U.S. Veterans. As a military family with a veteran of the Iraqi war, we know how much efforts like mean. And the kids took it really seriously. And one of the great things we're learning is that helping others makes us feel good, too! Thanks to Big Hearted Families for inspiring us to do better.
