Friday Fragments #7 -- Is It Any Wonder?
Does anyone else feel like the pace of life has begun to move so fast that waiting for an email to send an email or fast-forward a recording takes too long? That's where I have been lately so I thought it would be a perfect time to return to Friday Fragments. Because right now I am sooooooo fragmented.I had to go the DPS to renew my license. Because I have been ticket-less, I have not had to actually go in person for 12 years. This offered a very interesting Before and After.Should I be concerned that I basically have the same hair cut? (For the record, it has changed in the last 12 years!)My kids are obsessed with Minecraft. If you don't have children or they are very young, this may be a foreign word. But those moms whose children are old enough to discover it, you know. And the side event to the games are the videos. There are a couple of them out there with less than desirable language. The rule in my house is that they can watch them but if the video starts speaking foul, my kids have to mute it. (And if they start repeating anything, they are gone altogether.) I overheard one and was not thrilled with the language, so I walked in and muted it. My daughter yells back after me, "Mommy, why did you have to mutate it?" :-DThe best way to end a fragmented day:Sneaking a hundred kisses on the top of my son's head after he's gone to sleep. (The son who thinks he is now too old for kisses). Please join my fragmented hosts at Half Past Kissin' Time and Unknown Mami.
