Sundays in My City #75 -- Brick Zoo

Last week, we made a trip to the Houston Zoo to see the Lego exhibit before it closed. We had tried a few weeks back and got rained out. It required a special trip back from Austin but it was so worth it!  Yes, those are life-size animals made from Legos! Each animal has a sign that tells how many thousands of Legos it required and how many work hours. Trust me, these are amazing works of art!This one was a favorite of my kids. The frogs IRL are so little that they had to create a "magnify" feature with a scale device e.g. the penny.It was a wonderful day and I am thankful to the Houston Zoo for offering military families complimentary admission!
