What's Happening -- Dr. Smith's and the FARE Walk Houston

This past Saturday I had the immense pleasure to represent Dr. Smith's Diaper Rash Ointment as a Premium Parent at the FARE Walk Houston. FARE stands for Food Allergy Research & Education. And lest you think that Dr. Smith's doesn't seem an obvious fit, remember that Dr. Smith's is pretty useful on most rashes and irritations. When we arrived at Hermann Square at City Hall, we were swarmed by mosquitoes. Not kidding -- swarms. This is what I looked like within ten minutes.FARE bites 1And this was me after putting Dr. Smith's on the bites.FARE bites 2I must say that I have never used Dr. Smith's on bites before, but I was sitting there scratching myself while surrounded by cream and thought "what the heck. why not try?" And it worked. Totally worked! It immediately alleviated the itch and the redness was gone within a half hour. Yay!But back to FARE, we had a lovely booth surrounded by fun.FARE WalkAnd I got to hang out with one of my best gal pals and Premium Parent, Julie Pippert. But then the rain came.FARE Walk 2So the event ended with little walk but lots of money raised for a very important cause. I was proud that Dr. Smith's wanted to be a sponsor and we met a lot of wonderful families. Thanks to Dr. Smith's Diaper Ointment for being a part of such a great event and inviting me to be there.
