Sundays in My City #76 -- Color Run - Austin

Yesterday, I participated in The Color Run Austin. They call it the Happiest 5k on the Planet. It certainly is the most colorful and clearly among the messiest. The Color Run supports "Color Cancer" and involves running through enormous wafts of colored cornstarch at each checkpoint. It is a different color for each so that at the end I was covered in four different colors only to have multiple colors to swim through at the end.Here is a colorful look at my first 5K in over 5 years.The Kilometer MarkersHere is what my best friend, Anne, and I looked like at the start... And here is what we looked like at the end of the race...I ran mostly walked but I did it (and those of you who know how I have struggled with chronic illness know that is a big deal!)A dirty day but totally worth it!That's my Sunday color, check out other colorful cities at Unknown Mami.
