#Swiftly Painted Challenge - October
Well, what does one do when they finish a large challenge? Start another one, of course. But this one is monthly, so I have a fighting chance.Basically two lovely ladies, Jess and Annmarie, are hosting an opportunity to track myself through snapshots and reflections over a year. A series of self-portraits, if you will - metaphorically and literally.Today's prompt is: your followers follow you willingly. I certainly hope so. I feel like I have a community of friends that I can count on -- friendships spread far and wide, but friendships none the less. I see it as a dialogue where we each share our thoughts or pictures that reflect how we are feeling that day. I try to provide good content and feel I am growing as a writer. That matters more to me than the numbers. Which is probably a good thing but that's for another day.I hope to use this challenge as an opportunity to open up and reveal myself more fully. This is my universe, after all. I guess it's time to start shining! With each prompt, is a self-portrait. Here is how my family sees me, a LOT.If you want to join in or see more, please check out Simply Swift and The Iris.
