What's Happening -- #DrSmithsLaunch, The Party
Saturday, September 28th was a special day!As you know, I have been a proud Premium Parent Brand Ambassador for Dr. Smith's Diaper Rash Ointment for three years now. I have been so honored to be a part of their journey as they've grown from a Best-Kept Secret of Central Texas to State-wide Availability to Nation-wide! It is an amazing product and I am so glad that everyone has the opportunity to find Sweet Relief. And the 28th was the official National Launch Party for the Dr. Smith's held at the Ritz-Carlton in Dallas, Texas. Yummy breakfast delights were served. And there was a very special guest -- Ali Landry. She actually uses Dr. Smiths on her precious new baby (who made a quick appearance at the end) and joined us to celebrate this big new step. She shared her stories of struggling with nursing and other mothering obstacles. Please forgive the terrible photography! I am happy to report they had a real photographer -- Rhiannon Lee Photography -- and she did Ms. Landry (and me) far more justice.I felt a little like Skipper to her Barbie but she was super nice and I can genuinely say that I enjoyed visiting with her. But she wasn't the only special guest. A bevy of Texas bloggers were there to support Dr. Smith's. Included in this group were Tori of The sTori Book, Candy of CandyPolooza, and Melanie of Que Means What -- three fellow Premium Parents (and awesome bloggers to boot!) It was a wonderful day of sharing favorite tips and stories (and a picture or two) with other moms. I was so happy to be a part of the event and to represent Dr. Smiths. And you didn't think they'd send me home without a Swag Bag, did you?Curious what's in the bag? Stay tuned for a Giveaway. You didn't think I would grab a bag for myself and forget you my readers, did you? NEVER!Congratulations to all the folks at Dr. Smith's Diaper Rash Ointment and Mission Pharmacal on their National Launch. And to all my readers outside of Texas who have heard me talk about Dr. Smiths and wished you could get some -- now you can. Check out your local Walgreens. They are in every store!
