What's Happening -- Wild Days

One of the perks that I have received with this blog has been my participation in the WildSide Blogger Program for SeaWorld San Antonio. I feel so blessed by this opportunity and no more so than this past Saturday.Wild DaysWeekends in February, SeaWorld is hosting Wild Days and each weekend has a new, exciting line-up.Wild Days will be held every weekend in February.

As always, there is a fabulous educational element including the Expedition. Using the Wild Days map. kids can collect stamps from six different locations; each offering a different informative interaction. Each child that successfully collects all six stamps is declared an Honorary Wild Days Ambassador -- how cool! My kids always enjoy these  passport style opportunities and this was no exception! As part of the WildSide group, my family and I were fortunate enough to meet Jack Hanna -- you know, "Jungle" Jack Hanna from the Columbus Zoo. I have watched and admired him for years. It was a true treat for us to have a one-on-one moment with him and get our picture taken as a family. I continue to be amazed by all that has been placed at my feet and opportunities that include my children are extra special blessings.

We also were able to visit with a couple of the animal handlers and got very up close and personal with a very big snake. My daughter, Little Diva, was the bravest of us all!

I highly recommend that you head down and visit SeaWorld San Antonio this month and have your own Wild Day. It was a very special day.

Thank you, SeaWorld. My family and I love all the educational programs offered and a chance to understand the world of animals a little more.
