What's Happening -- A "See" of Ladies and Chocolate

Life is sweet! Or at least, it was Thursday night. My friends over at the Orange Wall Collective hosted a welcome party for the new See's Candies store in North Hills. And wow, what a party! To begin, I was surrounded by friends. There were too many to list here but many, many of my blogging and IRL friends were there. This made for an even sweeter welcome than the free piece of candy they offer at the door. (BTW, that's a real thing. Walk through the door and you are greeted and given a candy. Every time. Definitely worth a pop up 183, if you ask me!)The store is so pretty. All of their stores reflects the war-era bungalow kitchen with its black and white floors. Yet, the store is filled with color. I'm pretty sure the Bunny Trail Peter Cottontail hopped down might have looked like something like this!

And as you can see, I feel pretty at home with chocolate...

Chocolate and Me

And I feel at home at See's. "See" when I lived in Northern California. I loved going to See's ("see" how I did that? You know how I love a good bad pun!). They became my favorite chocolates and I have missed them!

Now back to those fabulous women (and a couple of brave men!) Here I am with three of my favorite gals -- Shelley from Slightly Off Kilter, Amanda from Keep It Complicated, and long-time on-line now IRL friend Danielle. Were we rocking the hair nets!

Why the hair nets? Because we did our best Lucy and Ethel impressions!Lucy and Ethel Yep! They let us back behind the  counter to see how quickly we could put together a dozen box! As you can see, I did more laughing than packing. And of course, what we made, we got to keep -- yummy! And what made this evening of fun even better? More chocolate, of course! Sweetest swag bag I've ever gotten!Sees Swag Thanks again to See's Candies and the Orange Wall gals for the lovely evening!
