Friday Fragments #33 - They Still Say the Funniest Things

It's Friday and we just completed our last full week of school before the end-of -the year. Next week has Monday as a holiday and then the following week ends on a Thursday. Eight days left and trust me, we're ALL counting.Lately, the kids have been saying so many funny things so I thought I would dedicate this week's Frags to them.

Sonny-Bunny was headed out the door. This followed after our goodbyes...Me: I love you!SB: Peace out, yo!Is that the official sign your child is a tween? I blame Drake. (If you don't remember why, click here.)

The other day, Sonny-Bunny was playing a video game. He was so lost in it, he didn't here me come into the room. When I said his name, I startled him so that he screamed. He then said, "You freaked me out! I don't want to be freaked out during video game time!"

Finally, Little Diva got me. We're driving and she starts a conversation with her most serious voice.LD: What differences are there left to make?Me: What do you mean?LD: You know differences like MLK. Are there still differences left to make?At this point, my Mommy heart is swelling.Me: Yes, baby, people are still hungry. People live where there is war or it isn't safe. And if possible, she gets even more serious with her voice.LD: Yeah! And girls have to wear shirts and boys don't. I'm starting there. It's really unfair! So never fear, friends! The world's ills are all about to end courtesy of my daughter. Just as soon as she fixes the inequity of shirts!***So that's our Family Fragments. Check out other Frags over at Half Past Kissin' Time. Happy Friday!
