Advent Calendar 2014 Day 2 -- Christmas Time is Here
Christmastime is here...Back when there were only three stations plus PBS, it was a big deal when a Christmas special came on TV. One of my all-time favorites is the "A Charlie Brown Christmas". I love the scene with all the Peanuts characters skating on an iced pond while this song played. Being from Texas, I always had a fascination with the snow. The only ice skating I ever did involved convincing my parents to drive down to the Galleria where they had an indoor rink.All these years later, I still love the tune and can't help but hum along. So today I am sharing this sweet reminder of my childhood.
