It's that time again! Time for the 17^th Annual Austin Home & Garden Show, January 16^th – 18^th at the Austin Convention Center.  Time to get a jump on those projects you promised yourself you would complete this year -- promises you made just a couple of weeks ago.There will be inspiration and practical help for everything inside and out with a good dose of fun thrown in, including Brian Santos, ”The Wall Wizard”. Interactive and educational presentations will occur throughout the weekend and include audience questions.A new addition to the show is a designated Gardening Stage. Expert Gardeners will be available from Travis County Master Gardeners, Austin Pond Society, Bamboo Society, and Goodness Grows in Austin.

There will be lots of kids’ activities -- even Michael Angelo the Ninja Turtle will make a special appearance on Saturday from 11:00 am- 4:00 pm. There will also be a Tiny House Feature by Affordable Portables, and a large Kids’ Zone with all kinds of fun activities from Costco, Macaroni Kid and the Bamboo Society of Austin.  New York Life will offer a Child ID Program for parents with fingerprinting and photographs.Even more family fun at an ‘Exotic & Every Day Animals’ display by the Capitol of Texas Zoo and an exciting live Birds of Prey demonstration by Last Chance Forever.There will be shopping offered of  artisan-crafted gifts and GO TEXAN products and gourmet treats.And if you feel a home is not a home without a pet, The Austin Humane Society will be onsite with their mobile adoption center, and furry friends ready for adoption. The Austin Home and Garden show is $8.50 for adults (17+), $6.50 for seniors (65+) all weekend, and free for kids 16 and under.
