Writing Wednesday #1

I am often Wordless on Wednesday but I thought I might mix it up every now and then .As Wednesday is the only day that starts with a "W" and I'm a dork, I chose it as the day to share some of my non-Star writing. Here's a poem I wrote prompted by a fairy tale. 

Picking up Crumbs

 Like GretelI follow.Crumbs of truthTo nowhere. Like HanselI stumble.Knowing notWhere to Go. Signs send meHere and there.Yet I willStand alone. Still I moveIn the dark.Forward onTo nowhere. Copyright 2014 -- Traci Shannon
