Hey Austin parents! Looking for camps for this summer? On February 22nd, CampSloop will make that task a little easier.
CampSloop.com was created by two local parents to provide a simple, smart and fun way to choose the right summer camp for your child. Now its creators are bringing the Web site to life and helping parents get a first-hand look at their options with an Austin Summer Camp Fair.
It's free with free parking and free childcare! And it looks like there will be a lot of fun. The first 200 attendees get $5 off skating for the day at Chaparral Ice, located next to Norris Conference Center (limit 4 coupons per family – valid day of event only). Additional activities for children will be provided by select camps.I love this part! "In homage to the Camp Sloop mascot, Sloop the Retriever, Camp Sloop will also be collecting donations for Austin Pets Alive! at the event." Yay!Over 40 summer camps will showcase their offerings at the fair on Sunday, February 22 from 12pm-4pm at the Norris Conference Center, located at 2525 West Anderson Lane. We'll be on the road but otherwise, I would so be there. I always stress about the summer camp planning!
