What's Happening -- Small Bundle Makes a Little Shop
My readers know I love Austin. Even as we are traveling the country, Austin remains "home". I also love supporting small businesses. When those two come together, I am all over it!A couple of weeks ago, I got to visit A Little Shop. A brick and mortar addition to the successful website A Small Bundle, it offers unique, often handmade toys and accessories for little ones.
It Started with a Bundle
The website A Small Bundle has offered these unique items for monthly subscription service and individual gifts for a while now. Those in the know have found distinctive shower gifts, as well as treats for mom and growing baby alike.
Now I have been a subscription junkie in the past and I know if I still had tinies, I would be all over this. But there is something to be said for going into a store and touching the items.
I brought my not-so-tiny baby, Little Diva with me and she loved the store. She was picking up all the handmade toys (especially the market stand items) and ooh-ing and ah-ing. She went home filled with ideas for starting her own etsy store which may be the greatest thing ever!
I hope my Austin friends will go out and support this little gem. It’s a bit hard to find. Look for it on the south side of 12th street across from the ACC parking structure. It shares a lot with 12th Street Books in a darling cottage. It is worth the look!
