	IN MY OWN BACKYARD By Bethany Lynn Corey Saturday June 13thth, 2015 Pollyanna is thrilled to announce a brand new series of performances for Very Young Audiences, THE POLLYANNA PLAY AND PLAY SERIES. This interactive theatre experience is designed for children ages 2 to 4 years of age and seeks to provide young children and their caregivers with an artistic experience especially designed for them. Pollyanna Theatre’s production of In My Own Backyard marks the professional premiere of Theatre for the Very Young in Austin.


	In My Own Backyard Mr. Sun would like to invite you to meet Squig and Lolly! These two best friends awake one morning to find ordinary objects leading them on extraordinary adventures. This premiere production of Pollyanna Theatre’s Play and Play series provides young audience members,1-4 years old, a chance to be audience members for a 'play' as well as to 'play' alongside Pollyanna artists during this one-hour experience.Mr. Sun has lots of fun in store for Squig, Lolly and all their friends as the adventure builds up to a backyard picnic for all!

And for the slightly older set:SHAKESPEARE!All my friends know I love, Love, LOVE Shakespeare and have taught it to young people for years so I am REALLY excited for this!For its 7^th season, Young Shakespeare, Austin Shakespeare’s teen company, will transform Richard Garriott de Cayeux’s outdoor Curtain Theatre (7400 Coldwater Canyon Drive) into a magical forest for their production of the romantic comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
