What's Happening -- Austin's Park & Pizza

Austin Last week, my family and I had the distinct pleasure of visiting Austin's Park & Pizza. Many Austinites know it as the place to take the kids for a day of racing cars, playing arcade games, and of course, eating pizza. Which frankly, as a mother of two busy kids, was just great. In fact, my son had his 11th birthday there. But now they are becoming so much more. Knowing that we parents might like something other than pizza, they have introduced Austin's Bar and Grill. It is a sit-down menu with terrific appetizers and full meal offerings. As we learned from the manager, Sean, a great deal of thought (and trial) went into the making of the menu. Let me tell you, it paid off.My husband and I were so impressed with everything. We started with the chips and queso. Now I should tell you that my husband is a queso lover and very picky. He loved it!!!Austin's Park & Pizza, #thenewmoreplaceWe then ordered both the Beef Tenderloin Sliders and Lorena's Tacos and shared. (The best way to eat, right?)Austin's Bar & Grill, #thenewmoreplaceAustin's Bar & Grill -- SlidersThey were both delicious and by the way, totally adult food. No over-cooked patties here. This was truly good. And that is the idea. Sean and Austin's Park are bridging the gap between the kids and the adults. This is definitely a place where we could let the kids go have fun and sit and enjoy a meal. In fact, they have changed the pricing for this very reason. If we the parents are not riding with the kids and rather not partake of the all-you-can-eat buffet, we don't have to buy a wrist band to enter. How awesome! But I can't share our time there without showing how much fun the kids did have!Austin's Park & Pizza, rides, funA big thank you to Austin's Park & Pizza for a wonderful time for both kids and grown-ups!!!
