Friday Fragments with Star2

Welcome to Friday Fragments. If you haven’t fragged before, Friday Fragments is a place to share those thoughts, quips, and tidbits that don’t quite make a whole post, e.g. fragments or frags. I host every Friday and would love for you to join in. Please link up and visit other Fraggers.

Happy Friday everyone! Today is the next to last Friday of 2015 and my anniversary. My husband and I have been married 21 years. I am very blessed and fortunate that I am so loved and immensely thankful.

21 years ago this morning, I was watching "Four Weddings and a Funeral" on VHS. I had a thing for Hugh Grant and thought it would be a cute pre-wedding movie. Oh, how wrong I was! Unfortunately, no one told me that the funeral was a heartbreaking moment not a wacky English comedy moment and that a bride gets jilted at the altar!!! Definitely not the right movie for the day. Thank goodness I had not yet done my makeup. In the years since, having not been left at the altar, I  have attended more weddings than four and more funerals than one. It has been a full and mostly good two decades.

I finally saw the Peanuts Movie. On Tuesday, Hubby and I took the kids to the mall to see Santa and made a day of it. We even took them to eat at Rainforest Cafe, their favorite! The movie is delightful and it was a nice quiet family moment before the holiday craziness takes over.

Speaking of, my Advent Calendar and the adventures of our Elf on the Shelf, Jeffrey, are continuing. Check out my Instagram feed if you'd like to take a peek.

My sweet Sonny-Bunny had his Polar Express Christmas last year with an important Dad-Son talk before Easter. I do not think he knows that I know that he knows (if you will) so he has been very solicitous of his sister and me on all things Santa. He asks me every morning if I have found Jeffrey yet and has not broken his sister's spell. He did, however, declare that he was too old for Santa's lap. Instead, he stated that he could stand in the photo and write a letter. Love this kid!

Little Diva, however, is in full naughty list fear and is constantly asking for chores to do to ensure that she makes the nice list. Too bad, Christmas comes only once a year. ;-)

Well, that's it for this set of Fragments. I noticed that this is #26 which means I've been hosting for half the year. Thanks to all who have joined in on the fragging fun. I am taking next Friday off for Christmas so this will be the last of 2015. I'll be back to frag in the new year!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
