Beg, Borrow, or Thrift Tuesday -- Online Hauls

It's Tuesday and I want to get back to Beg, Borrow, or Thrift-ing. I have been sharing my OOTD (Outfit of the Day) regularly on Instagram but I want to dive a little deeper here on the blog.Beg Borrow or Thrift

Why thrift?

To me, it comes back to the core of this blog and my philosophy -- be a star in your own life. Thrifting allows me to wear beautiful clothes without breaking the bank. And as a busy mom, I can wear "nice" clothes daily without fear of ruining an investment piece. I'll be honest, if I can't wash it, I don't wear it. Since I spend less than most box store purchases, designer clothes can become every day clothes. I know that I feel better when I feel well turned out.

My latest discoveries

I have written about shopgoodwill.com before and now I have two more online obsessions -- Schoola and ThredUp. Both offer high quality new and gently-used clothing at terrific prices. And in case, there was any question, check this out:thrifted, thrift, clothesFrom ThredUp: Merona cardigan, Old Navy sleeveless top, Ann Taylor sleeveless sweater, American Eagle tank, J. Crew dress, Lauren Conrad dressTOTAL: $49.93 (including shipping)thrift, thrifted, clothesFrom Schoola: Ann Taylor sleeveless blouse, Silence & Noise dress (NWT), Forever XXI top (NWT), Express Studio cardigan, H&M lace top, H&M ruffled sleeveless top (NWT)TOTAL: $67.50 (includes free shipping)That's right. 12 beautiful items for less than $120! Both websites offer referral credits and as a bonus, Schoola donates money to schools (hence the name) -- yay! That's my haul for the week. Do you thrift? If not, why?Happy Tuesday!
