Friday Fragments #55 - Inspections & Mr. Marshall

It's Friday, and I know some of you are saying Fri-YAY! So Yay! Let's get this Frag party going!I have had a great week, busy but great. The house purchase is progressing. Whoo! What a stressful process. I feel like I need to find my kindergarten report card and provide a DNA sample. Are you a homeowner? Did you find it this stressful? Maybe it's just me.Monday, we went for the inspection and got great news. The house is sturdy and termite free! Which is good, because I want to host guests but not the wood-eating sort. I'm looking at you, Mr. Beaver! (Unless you are a human with the last name Beaver, then we'll talk.)

"I'm going to be a homeowner!" 

Fingers crossed that everything continues moving on smoothly! Then my "I'm going to be a homeowner!' face can become a "I'm a homeowner!" face.

This week and next week are full of politics. Well, let's be honest, this whole year is full of politics. But right now, we are on election overload! This is not a political blog so I won't be boring you with my take on either party or convention. I will say this, however, I'm enjoying late night TV like never before. It's a struggle, but I fight to stay awake to see everything!

R.I.P. Garry Marshall

We lost another great one this week. Garry Marshall not only gave us "Pretty Woman" but he gave us the Fonz. Who didn't want to be "Pinky"?For me, "Laverne & Shirley" may be his greatest contribution. Those two were as funny as Lucy & Ethel and my favorite show growing up. To this day, I sing "We're gonna do it..." when I'm feeling down. Yes, I know. I'm a dork. But a delightful one! ;-)And in case that didn't put the song in your head, here you go...Now I'm ready to take on this day! I wish you all a good week. I'd love for you to join the Frags.
