Ford Driving Skills for Life is a Must for Teen Drivers!

Hard to believe, but in three short years,(yes, three! Did you feel your screen shake as I shiver?!?!) my oldest child will be driving. I can’t even imagine! But it’s comforting knowing that there are programs like Ford Driving Skills for Life to teach young drivers good habits and keep them safe on the roads. Best part – it’s coming to Houston soon!Houston, Ford, Teen Driving Ford Driving Skills for Life is a free hands-on training program for newly permitted and licensed drivers that will be in Houston on April 22 and 23 at NRG Stadium. This is a fun and free event, but will teach teen drivers some serious skills behind the wheel! Some sobering statistics: in Houston and across the country, vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death among teens. The Texas Highway Safety Office says in 2016 there were 118 teen driver fatalities and 5,898 teen driver injuries resulting from 83,278 total crashes involving teen drivers. It’s a jungle out there!
