A Toothbrush as Bright as Her Smile

unnamed.jpg

So, our family has crossed a threshold - we have entered the world of braces. Yep both bank accounts and whine meters have taken a huge hit. Sonny-Bunny convinced us to get Invisalign which has proven to be a big mistake because there is a daily battle over him putting the blasted thing in his mouth! But that is for another day.Little Diva is in Phase One braces which basically means that she is wearing metal braces for a year to try to create space for all the teeth waiting to come in. Now braces are WAY better than when I had them! Instead of going clear, she has gone colorful!smile, toothbruhWell, anyone who has walked the road of braces knows that the importance of toothbrushing goes up exponentially! And in order to keep her smile this bright, I need her to want to brush. Three times a day without fighting, brush.Enter brushes as colorful as her teeth.toothbrushBeing colorful isn't enough, however. As the Diva would say, "obviously, Mommy!" You can infer tone at your leisure. Let's just say she is a full-on tween. But back to my point (if I had one), all those wires and brackets need flossing regularly. And there is NO way I'm getting her to floss 3X a day. So I tried Mouthwatchers Toothbrushes with their flossing bristles.

I was provided toothbrushes for the purpose of this review. All opinions are mine. It is my Universe, after all.

Mouthwatchers have silver-bristle technology that will catch whatever toothbrushes leave behind. And they promise that the toothbrushes stay free of bacteria and that is huge in my book. Here's what they say:

  • Eliminates 99.9% of bacteria that builds up on bristles in 6 hours with EPA- approved silver bristle technology

  • Revolutionary Flossing Bristles™: long, soft bristles with 1 micrometer diameter tips reach areas missed by othertoothbrushes

  • Travel size/foldable version

  • Gets deep into teeth grooves and pockets for a superior clean

  • Comfort grip handle

  • High quality construction

  • PBT bristle material outlasts traditional nylon used in competitive brushes

Here's what this Momma has to say:Little Diva likes the brush. She doesn't argue about the multiple requests to brush. Despite their flossing ability,  she says they are soft and it doesn't hurt. I like the brush because her teeth look clean and her gums healthy. I'm not a dentist. I don't even play one on TV, but I feel good about her using tis brush,BTW, Sonny-Bunny uses it, as well, but getting a picture with him as more difficult than getting him to put in his tray.Thank you, MouthWatchers, for a toothbrush as bright as her smile.
