Austin, events, familyIf you are a theatre lover, then this is your weekend, Austin! Two of my favorite home grown theatres - The Zach and Pollyanna are kicking off their 2017-2018 Seasons.

For the Kiddos

theatre, children's theatre. AustinPollyanna Theatre Company is presenting "A Moon of My Own" - a tale of the nighttime adventures of an imaginative girl and her friend the moon. Travel to the rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef with Avanjali. This play is based upon the beautifully illustrated book of the same name and as it is a Pollyanna production, you can rest assured that education will be woven into the fun. They are so good at it that your kids will likely not even realize that it was an educational show until they recite facts about the Amazon to you. This group never ceases to amaze me.
