Pebbles Home

The walk home can mean a lot of things. To me, it often means a walk to the place where one feels most like oneself. Sometimes it is a literal walk and sometimes it is more of a spiritual journey.

So on this season of “the pebble”, I am going to start each episode with an introduction focusing on what pillar of the movement it represents. In today’s episode, I am talking with my friend Dan about finding your “home” and how that home can center that journey.

Come take a listen to Dan and I talk about finding home on “the pebble”

For Dan, this journey has been very much influenced by the film “All of Us Strangers”. Dan identified with the main character who often is isolated and lonely. However, his job as a railway worker, which requires him to be customer-facing, and his growth as he has aged, have helped him push out of his comfort zone despite his social anxiety. As his friend, I have loved seeing his quiet confidence and self-acceptance develop.
