Is there life after death?
There may be no more fundamental question in life. Is this it or is there something else?
Usually, this is a question left to the religious side of things. What, however, if there was a way to study it from a scientific perspective?

What happens when we cross over “after death”?
That is the focus of the intriguing film, “After Death” in theaters now. It is a documentary wherein actual survivors of near-death experiences share their true stories of what they saw and lived in those moments on the other side.

What is it to be dead?
This is another question discussed by a skeptical cardiologist who spearheads much of the discussion. A piece I liked a great deal was the real objective approach to the subject. The doctor spoke about what could be defied and what could not. When was a body dead? That could be answered. But when was a spirit/mind dead? Not so easy.
That is the mystery of the movie and I will leave that to the viewer. I do recommend this film to anyone over 11 or so. While it is a heavy subject, I think it is handled in a way that tweens and up can see it and have healthy conversations with parents afterward. I also believe that it is well-balanced and can be viewed by those of any background which is always very important to me.
