A Gift in the Garden
A couple of weeks ago, I shared a new faith-based children’s show, “The Garden”. A sweet show centering on Lenny the Lion
and Lucy the Lamb
who tend a “magical” garden where anything can grow, This garden is really a treasure trove of lessons for lion, lamb, and child alike.
Many thanks to Garden Productions for providing a sample of the product for this review.

Growing in the Garden
Each episode brings a new song and a new lesson about Jesus and the latest is perfect for the season. “The Greatest Gift” is a lovely reminder of the reason behind the season and the transformative power of the story of Christ’s birth.
Lenny and Lion are tasked with setting up a theatre for the Christmas pageant. As you can imagine, things don’t go smoothly, but the lesson they learn isn’t about how better to manage a project. Instead, they learn that it is never too late for a heart to be changed by the Christmas spirit. No one is too far gone from God to come back into the fold, in this case, it’s a beaver with a toothache and an old theatre.
Just in Time
Watching the Toothacher pop back into the spirit of the season is happily reminiscent of a certain hairy green fellow. His change is as dramatic, but it’s not Cindy Lou that changes his heart, it’s hearing Luke’s version of Jesus’ birth that bursts his heart out of its bounds.
