Every parent of a teenager knows the truth of this statement even if it comes from an ironic speaker. My son loves #RickandMorty and with it coming out today on Blu-Ray and Digital today, I was able to make his birthday come a little early. #giftedโฃ

Add to that another awesome #funkopop for his collection and for a moment, I was a cool mom!

For a moment.โฃ

But every mom knows you take that moment. Being the mom to a teenager is about living in the moment. Catching each moment as it comes and addressing it as it comes, good or bad, happy or sad, sassy or loving. Just living it.

My son literally tells me that he know he gets in his own way and often it falls to me to help him learn how to stop being his own worst enemy. Itโ€™s a job I gladly embrace.
