One Less C to Worry About
This post is made possible with support from the American Cancer Society.
All opinions are my own.
So it has been a year. I don’t have to tell you that. Seriously, if I hear the word “unprecedented” again… well, my actions may be unprecedented. And with everything going on, if you have been inclined to wrap your kids up in bubble wrap, I couldn’t blame you. I know the thought has crossed my mind.
After a year behind doors, I feel like I am constantly making decisions, often with potential life or death repercussions. From as simple as delivery or drive up to most recently, the decision on whether or not to send my children to school. I mean, seriously, I’m tired. Tired of worrying. Tired of making decisions. Who’s with me?
With so much swirling in my mind, I am happy I can trust my pediatrician on how to make at least one such decision. I previously shared my experience of choosing cancer prevention by choosing HPV prevention. With so much information at hand, this decision was one that came easily. And I must say in this confusing world wherein the Big-C I am worried about isn’t always Cancer, I am glad that there is at least one less C on the list for my teens.
