With the craziness that was the post-Thanksgiving shopping, I had to choose this one -- "Jingle All the Way". It centers on Arnold Schwarzenegger as a disconnected dad in search of redemption by buying the perfect gift. It is an absolutely silly romp with Arnold fighting Sinbad and bad Santas to get the desired "Turbo Man" doll. Think "Cabbage Patch" doll mania meets "Tickle Me Elmo" insanity and you get the idea.As a parent, I understand the desire to make our children's dreams come true but there has to be some sense of reality. Watching people brawling in Wal-Mart or taz-ing each other on the floor of the mall all to save a few bucks seems about the most un-Christmaslike behavior possible.
