You may  have heard but Austin, Texas was shut down Friday because we got a little snow. It doesn't happen often so forgive us if we make a big deal of it. It really was beautiful.

And of, course, the dog wanted to play, as well, so we bundled her up.

The kids had fun though as a native New Yorker, my husband is now committed to having his children meet "real" snow!
