You know I love theater and you probably know Little Diva loves princesses so when I heard Beauty and the Beast was coming to Austin, an audible squeal echoed through the house. That's right! I am so excited to take Little Diva to opening night. This will be her first "grown-up" theater experience. Just look how lush this production is...the_enchanted_objects_of_disneys_beauty_and_the_beast._photo_by_amy_boyle We all know the story -- the beautiful and smart Belle, misunderstood in her own provincial town finds herself in a mysterious castle surrounded by magical housewares and a very grumpy prince-turned-Beast. As the two grow to know each other, love blooms but will it come in time to save the Beast from the curse? 

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast features the animated film’s Academy Award®-winning score with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by the late Howard Ashman, with additional songs composed by Alan Menken and lyrics by Tim Rice. The book is written by Linda Woolverton.The original creators of the Broadway production are together again for this new touring production. The play is Directed by Rob Roth and Choreographed by Matt West, with Costume Design by Ann Hould-Ward (Tony Award® winner for her work on Disney’s Beauty and the Beast), Lighting Design by Natasha Katz (three-time Tony Award® winner), Scenic Design by Stanley A. Meyer, Sound Design by John Petrafesa Jr. and Music Supervision by Michael Kosarin.
