I am so excited to share this super fun family event coming to Palmer Events Center in May!Austin, Maker FaireMaker Faire Austin will be hosting a family-friendly event full of invention, creativity, education, and entertainment that will make even adults feel like kids again.The event will feature a 30' fire-shooting robot -- the Robot Resurrection,  a drone fly zone with drone obstacles, racing, and battles, and performances by Arc Attack. Maker Faire Austin will host over 200 makers from Texas and beyond.Can we say "wow"???

Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

This event is one of nineteen featured Faires across the world being produced in collaboration with Maker Faire. Austin Producer Kami Wilt says, “Creative Austinites and many from across Central Texas have joined forces to bring this Faire of interaction and education to children and adults for the past five years.”Past years have included performances and stunning attractions such as Draka, the 100-foot-long dragon art car built on a Ford Econoline van; Boneshaker Big Wheel, the twelve-foot-tall high wheel wooden bicycle with mechanical legs; Austin Bike Zoo’s giant insect puppet bikes; and 30-foot stunt jump from Stunt Ranch. This year, Maker Faire Austin will also feature a darkened hall with glowing and illuminating exhibits.
