Staying Cool for Back-to-School
After over a year and a half of homeschool, we returned to the world of M-F, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm this month. With back-to-school, came "time for mom" throughout the day -- yay, and harried mornings -- boo! This includes packing healthy lunches. You know, putting things in that you want them to eat that will actually get eaten. And, believe it or not, the kids care if their lunches are cool.
Aack! I forgot how hard that is.
As a Stonyfield Yo-Getter, I received a small stipend and products for the purpose of this review. All opinions are mine. It is my Universe, after all.
My friends at Stonyfield have given me a hand, however. They have long been a part of our lunch routine. The tubes are perfect to throw in for a sweet, yet, healthy addition. In my very imperfect, non-crunchy kitchen, this is something I can give them without worry. But I want to mix-it-up. Through Stonyfield, I was introduced to Justin's. Do you know these guys? They create nut butters ranging from almond to hazelnut to good ol' peanut. I have one word to share... "yum!" They are so good.
Making Back-to-School Lunches Cool
Well, when it comes to the Pretzels & Hazelnut, there might be a second word... "obsessed." It makes for a great snack, sweet and savory with a pop of protein. Who could ask for anything more? It has become a great option to throw in the box and feel good about it.Speaking of box -- I love this Fabulous Pack-It box. The camo plus orange is a perfect fit for my tween boy. I can freeze it overnight and it keeps Sonny-Bunny's food cool all day. Since he loves turkey, this gives me peace of mind.So for this new to the old back-to-school grind girl, I now have one less thing to stress about. Thanks again to Stonyfield, Justin's, and Pack-It for helping me keep my cool. What helps you keep your cool?
