Organic Oats & Mother Goose for Breakfast
Little Miss Muffet sat on a tuffetEating her curds and whey,Along came a spider,Who sat down beside herAnd frightened Miss Muffet away.
Well, maybe if she had Red Mill Oats and Stonyfield Grassfed Yogurt, she would have stayed. I know I would face down at least four of those eight legs for the combo. :-)
As a part of the Stonyfield Yo-Getters program, I was provided a sample for the purpose of this post. The opinions are mine. It is my Universe, after all.
Seriously, though, as the days get cooler (cooler, not necessarily cool as this is Texas), I think we all want to send the kids off with full tummies. And a terrific addition to the morning yogurt, Stonyfield Organic, of course is Bob's Red Mill Oats to stir in. The oats add texture as well as taste.
Mother Goose Had Nothing on Bob's Red Mill Oats!
I'm not spilling a drop of this, spider or no! And in case, you didn't know I am terrified of spiders. (Jeff Daniels aka 1990's "Arachnophobia" terrified!)It's healthy and yummy. Bob's Red Mill whole grain oats have the same delicious flavor, terrific texture, and solid nutrition of steel cut oats, with the benefit of being certified organic! But maybe the best part yet - it's an easy breakfast. Mother Goose and the old woman in the shoe would have even liked this breakfast no matter how many kids were running around that over-sized footwear. Do you ever feel like your mornings have thrown you into the world of magpies, mudpies, and other nursery rhyme styled breakfast disasters? I know I have. How do you make those school mornings fun and yet filling?
