It’s BBQ Time!
Look, Mama, I cooked! I‘m sharing an easy and yummy twist on a burger recipe for indoor and outdoor grilling. Enjoy!

Days of Naps in a Stroller
Today, amongst old, mostly un-viewed YouTube videos, I found this delight. My now teenager at age six, packing her “ready” bag for a trip to Seaworld in San Antonio. Mind you, we did not have one planned. This was just for when she got the “go”.

Stick the Landing
It’s okay to be nervous, but don’t let your fear of needles stop you from overcoming your greatest fear of all -- that of COVID. Nothing to be ashamed of, fill your toolbox, make your plan, and stick the landing.

Take a Look at Vooks
When reading doesn’t come easily, it’s not much fun. And when it’s not fun, kids generally don’t want to read. Vooks brings books to life and makes reading fun again.

Earth Day Should be Every Day
Earth day should be every day so I am making small changes in my every day routine.

Pink Roses and Me
But, just like these roses with delicate petals at the top of thorns, I'm still trying to bloom. For roses to survive season to season, you cut the rose off at the head, in fact, it's called "dead-head"ing. This harsh tactic creates beautiful flowers with diaphanous wings of petals yet oak-like strength of stems the next Spring.

Three for Three
ACEs don’t have to be a life sentence of pain. They can be a growth point that creates strong, resilient children and later, adults. So even as I am working to support my kids through this period, I can’t help but think of how I may show support to others.

It’s Spring… So I’ll Follow the Sun
It’s Spring and while it rained in my house and made it a science project, I’ll follow the sun.

I Cried Today
It’s been a lot, lately. No. It’s been too much. So, I cried today. And that is okay.

A Food Revolution
Changing my life starts with my health. And for this girl. that path is coming straight through the kitchen.

Honoring a Hero…
My eyes have been opened and with that, so has my heart. I cannot address this new knowledge with anger. Only love will meet the need. Only love will meet the moment.

Put on a Happy Face
I have begun a regular exercise program and I am being more conscious about what I choose to eat. After this past year, I am looking for “happy” everywhere; including my food.

Goals to Grow, Not Resolve
This year I am not doing resolutions. Instead, I am working on “growth”.
Growth physically, mentally, and spiritually, as well as growing financially and growing my business.
