When I was a kid, my mother brought home a record of fun religious songs called “Bullfrogs and Butterflies”. To this day, I can still hear the refrain, “bullfrogs and butterflies, they’ve both been born again”. We loved singing along so much that she later bought the tape for us to listen in the car.

From Butterflies to Veggies

When my kids were growing, we watched and sang along with a certain set of vegetables. You may have known them, as well. The main guys were named Larry and Bob. Again, these tales and songs helped share the Bible in fun, digestible bites.

A Garden that Grows

Now, there is the “The Garden”, a Christ-centered cartoon series aimed at teaching kids the Gospel in an easy, approachable way. It stars best friends, Lenny the Lion and Lucy the Lamb, who work inside a magical garden where anything can grow! The stories revolve around the two taking adventures and accomplishing their goals by learning a Bible story or an original song. The kids get to grow and learn right along on these adventures, too!
