I Believe in Jane
Whitney said (sang) it for us all. Children are the future. When it comes to taking care of Planet Earth, it could not be truer. They have the most on the line but also the most hope.
This is the spirit behind the Apple TV+ show, Jane. When the first season premiered last year, I had the great pleasure of talking with the stars Ava Louise Murchison and Mason Blomberg via a roundtable. Aster and Aslyn got in the fun. Inspired by the daily legacy of Jane Goodall, Ava’s character, “Jane” (of course!) and her best friend David take imaginative adventures centering on a different endangered animal in each episode.
Jane’s Back for Another Swing
I am thrilled that Jane has returned for a second season. I appreciate the sincerity of Ava and Mason. The show is not preachy and they legitimately seem to have fun. I am pleased to say I got to speak with these delightful stars.
This show is fun for all ages, including those of us whose kiddos are AHEM older AHEM (high school and college). I often join with my nephew and niece, Aster & Aslyn, but this one is worthy of a sit-down, even if I am the only one in the room.
