Pack Up for Adventure

We love, Love, LOVE our pups in our house. Take a peek at any of my feeds and it won’t take you a but a second to find evidence of that. While I am sure that there is nothing new to that, I find it extra special with my chronic illness. These two are my cuddle pups who know when I am not well.
They know just when I am under the weather and do their best to cheer me. They even are clever enough to know just where and what hurts and lie at that place - not kidding! They curl at my head when I have headaches and my belly when my troubles are well… lower.
So I was very excited to hear about a new pup-centric show. On Friday, November 20th, Amazon Prime will premiere a reality show featuring clever canines and their humans traveling the world and competing for big money - like $750.000 BIG! That’s $500K for the dynamic dog duo and another $250K for their favorite animal charity.
And this pay-it-forward loving gal was especially happy to hear that another $250K was donated during filming to multiple charities and rescues in each country.
But back to the competition! Olympian Lindsey Vonn will be hosting, so you know it will be exciting!
Welcome to The Pack.
I was so excited, I was even got inspired to see if mine were pack worthy. Thanks to this great track that I was sent, both my dachshund “Beanie” and my American staffie “Roxie” were put into “training”. And by training, I mostly mean me sliding through the tunnels practically begging them to follow with very little success.
But fortunately, there is always great cuteness!
I think, however, we have established that our best bet is to stay home with our own pack where “Best cuddler on the couch” and “Sloppiest kisser” are the only contests at hand. And from that vantage on the couch we’ll cheer on the teams on that other Pack on Amazon Prime.
We’re packed and ready for adventure!
