I'm Not Just a Go-Getter, I'm a Yo-Getter

YoGetter-1.jpg

Let's be honest. I am not a foodie or particularly crunchy. I do not make perfect food choices for myself or my children. I am, however, trying to do better. A lot better. So when my daughter tried a Stonyfield Strawberry yogurt tube at a friend's house and fell in love, I was intrigued. When she went on about how she now loved real strawberries because the real strawberries in the yogurt were so good, I was hooked. This is my Mikey-like picky eater telling me how she would eat organic yogurt everyday. Yeah... I was excited! My friend and partner-in-crime, Priscilla aka Wheelchair Mommy, has been a Stonyfield Yo-Getter for a while now. When I told her that story, she immediately suggested that I apply to be a part of the Y0-Getter ambassador program. So I did. And yo' know what? They chose me -- woot! woot!Today, I not only get to share that great news but I am sharing an addition to my healthier pantry. Stonyfield has created organic fruit snacks. A healthier alternative to this lunch staple? Yes, please.Stonyfield, fruit snacks, Yo-GetterThey are only 70 calories and made with real fruit and vegetable juices. Yes. Take that in... there are some veggies involved. We imperfect feeding parents need all the help we can get! To add, there are no artificial flavors or preservatives and provide 100% DV of Vitamin C. Do you feel my excitement? We received two flavors to try -- Strawberry (guess who liked those?) and Mixed Berry. Momma may or may not have found a favorite, too. At least, there is no evidence left behind. Or is there?Stonyfield, fruit sacks, snacks, organicOops! I guess I've been outed. I love the strawberry! At least, I have something to grab when that Halloween candy is calling my name!A big thanks to the Stonyfield team for helping this trying-to-do-better Mommy do better!
