Giving my Diet a Boost

I need to eat better,There I said it. It's true. Year after year, I promise myself that I shall do better. This year, however, I am following through. I shared how I have been hydrating more and taking self-care breaks with Stonyfield yogurt. Well, now I am taking it a step further!

As a Stonyfield Yo-Getter, I was provided samples of Barlean's for the purpose of this review.The opinions are mine. It is my Universe, after all.

flax seed, omegaLook at all that goodness! Barlean's sent me wonderful flax seeds to add to that yogurt break. Now if you're wondering why or what (which is completely cool because I did the same), let me tell you. Flax seeds are a vegan source of Omega-3 fatty acids, as well as 10 other essential amino acids. They also provide dietary fiber. Now if that went flying over your head, because AGAIN it did mine, let's just say that they call them a Super food. And goodness knows I could use a little super in my life. Too bad it doesn't come with a cape. Alas...But back to this world, just because it's healthy does not mean I will eat it. As evidenced by my opening statement, if it does not taste good and if it is not easy, it goes bad in my pantry beside all my other good intentions. But Barlean's has proven a perfect partner with my better breakfast choices. I add it to my Stonyfield, of course and while at Mom 2.0 this past week, I found another great use.Yes, I brought the Barlean's with me to a conference... I told you I liked it. I actually chose the combo bag that adds Chia and Coconut seeds. I'll save you the long rundown on that -- just know that it makes it super Super! So this week, I made my oatmeal super.eating better, chia, flaxBoosting my diet makes the crazy days of parenting, and blogging, and "adulting" much easier... maybe even super!
