911 or 411
We all have aches and pains but we wonder if its time for a trip to the MD or WebMD. I thought I would share a few of my actual experiences and some real advice on when it is a 411 or 911 situation.

No Horsing Around
Horseback riding, more commonly referred to as equestrianism, is an awesome hobby that combines physical exercise, mental discipline, and an intimate connection with one of nature's most gorgeous creatures. From casual trail riding to competitive show jumping events - horse riding offers a truly immersive experience that can connect on a deeply personal level.

Books for Under the Tree
Whether you are a planner or a last-minute gifter, books always win. There is a match for every personality, age, or interest. Below I am sharing some of my favorites, and others that have been shared with me. Be sure to let me know your favorites!

Beauty for the Stocking
Still looking for gifts for your beauty lover?
Here are a few of my personal favorites and they are still available for Christmas delivery.

Healthy Camping
When it comes to travel, chronic illness often throws a wrench in the works. While it is certainly possible to travel, visit new destinations and have adventures — I have done them all — we need to approach each opportunity with flexibility and caution.
Nothing is impossible
We simply have the right support and planning in place.

No Rotten Eggs Here
We all want to make your kids happy, right? Of course we do! It’s all we want for our children. However, parents can go too far and end up spoiling their kids to the point where they don’t appreciate anything. Think Veruca Salt singing “I want it now!”

Share a Cup of Friends-ship
In case you aren’t aware, there is a Central Perk coffee. No, it isn’t on the ground floor of the greatest rent control building in Manhattan history, but does make a fine up of Joe. Take a sip and you may find yourself saying, “How you doin”? Okay, yes, that is a cringe-worthy Friends pun, but it’s fair because that is also the name of one of their brews, as well as “We Were on a Break”, and the “Pivot” blend. And they make for great gifts under the tree.

Movies for Under the Tree
In my house, few presents win more than movies. Even in this digital world, my daughter especially loves an actual DVD/Blu-Ray in hand. Here are a few that will be winning as gifts for our family tree,

Enjoy Life More
Believe it or not, we have a lot of control over your life and what happens each day. Happiness isn’t just a “feeling” and it depends a great deal on habits and way of life.

Eastern Dreaming
The last two years, I have felt my wanderlust go into overdrive. Anyone else? I was traveling a decent amount domestically, and always dreaming of international travel pre-Covid, and then the world shut down. Now that it has opened again, all of those dreams have exploded like fireworks. Recently, my eyes have turned eastward,

She Loves New York
Sometimes you come across a book that speaks to your heart and this new beauty did that in full! Dearest New York by Deidre Gartner was like a postcard I would have written to the NYC I lived and loved before 9/11. My heart sang with the pages.

Open to the New
I talk a lot about shining brightly and throwing pebbles of positivity into the sea, but all of that depends on us being a bright light ourselves. This is a hard lesson I learned this year. I let might dim a bit. Candles o burn out if we don’t tend to them. For me I will be trying a litte aura.

Santa is Coming!
Back in August, I shared Old World Christmas and a beautiful giveaway they were doing of Christmas Cheer. Well, they graced me with some, as well. Unboxing to follow. Thank you, Old World Christmas, for bringing a smile to my face and starting my Christmas off right. Keep shining brightly.

Pack for the Trip of Life
Life isn’t always easy all of the time, and the proverbial road of life has plenty of bumps along the way. Here’s the thing, though. The better we prepare for a road trip, the easier it goes. And if you’ll continue to roll with the metaphor (and well-placed pun), the same goes for life.

Surprised by Love
Sometimes love. whether it comes for or from something can be frustrating. In fact, correction, that is more often than not the case. This can be true whether it is a passion for a subject studied, a romance blossoming, or even an understanding of something greater than oneself, a newfound, or refound belief in God.
