Some of you know that I struggle with chronic illness. Therefore, I try to do what I can to make healthy choices and give myself the best start to the day I can. This  week I have added a couple of tasty energy boosters.

As a Stonyfield Yo-Getter, it is no surprise that I love their yogurt. I told the story here about how my daughter learned that she actually loved real fruit by eating one of their yogurt tubes. So when I received a box of Nature’s Path Organic Pumpkin Flax Granola, breakfast planning was done. (They had me at Pumpkin, frankly.) I paired a bowl of the granola with my favorite vanilla yogurt. Earlier this month, I shared that Stonyfield has this new Oh My Yogi! tri-layered yogurt in Madagascar Vanilla Bean. Hungry yet?

But it isn’t just tasty! This is all organic! The Pumpkin Flax granola is packed with whole grains and 20% of your daily fiber and 6g of protein per serving. Add that to the 7g with Oh My Yogi and I got 13g of protein with less than 470 calories (135 calories from fat)! Now that is a great start.
How do you start your day?

P.S. Stir a little granola into the yogurt - you won't regret it!
